Keyboard

I own an HHKB but I upgraded to a split Ergo because wrist pain has been increasing. I find that the glove80 provides me more confort as the pain has been decreasing when at the computer for large amounts of time. When changing keyboards I also took the time to switch to en-us layout.

Audio Interface

When buying an audio interface I took into consideration its specifications because my microphone demanded huge output which the El Gato Wave XR was able to deliver. Problem is that it is not reliable on Linux, I tried to make it work on my work laptop but it would simply not properly work with Slack or Teams. Investigating further I saw some other people complaining and it seems that because the interface creates virtual audio output it messes up something on Linux. I am not awfully familiar with newer Audio capabilities under Linux but I should take the time and read on Pipewire and try making it work with what I have.

File System

I have been trying to understand better the Linux internals and for that reason, when re-installing my OS, I went with btrfs for my FSType. Initial readings stated improvements on SSD life expectancy, so far I have nothing to report.
